Abena founded Curls AuNaturel to tell African stories and grow Black-owned brands. She holds an MA in Creative Writing & Publishing and a BSc in Public Health — a mix that shows in everything from her children's books to her community work.
Running the brand's Instagram herself, she grew it organically to more than 40,000 followers in three and a half years, and now helps other brands do the same.
